When you work out with an EXOS coach, you learn to move with proper form and safe technique, while your coach challenges you to challenge yourself.
With some time and consistency, it’s not long until you start noticing your strength and endurance improving, and it’s just easier to move around because your body is less stiff and achy.
All this lowers your chance of injury and enables you to do more of the physical activities you enjoy (not to mention your pants are fitting better).
And it’s not crazy to imagine that your newfound fitness leads to activities that you might’ve never thought possible — like hiking the Grand Canyon or rearranging your living room on a whim.

The science behind our training
Our approach to training was developed over the past two decades, based on the latest scientific research and proven in the field with people from all walks of life. We focus on the way you move, and help you develop what it takes to move well.
Here are some key elements of our training and how they translate to the real world.
Stability is how well you can remain sturdy while moving or holding still — without bending, shaking or otherwise compensating. In other words, the wobbliness you may have in your knees, hips, or shoulders is likely poor stability.
Movement quality means your muscles and joints are in the right place at the right time when you move, for a smooth transfer of energy through your limbs. So when you step off a curb, for example, the muscles that support your knee fire up in time to brace for impact with the ground.
Cardiovascular fitness is your ability to get up and go, and keep going — so you can get through that hike, or continue playing with your kids till the streetlights come on.
Total-body power is what you need to exert yourself, like when you’re hiking up a steep slope or loading your wriggling toddler into a carseat.
Mobility is your ability to move smoothly through a full range of motion. You might notice your mobility (or lack of it) when reaching above your head or twisting.

Personalization is central to everything we do. Our coaches assess where you are today and tailor your workout to you. This assures you don’t overdo it (or underdo it), while also targeting what you need to improve most.
Progressive programming keeps your training fresh and challenging. Coaches continually progress your workouts with you and adapt to anything life throws your way — whether it’s recovering from a sore muscle or preparing for a 5K.
